Detective Comics #27 (May 1939) introduced the world to Bruce Wayne — 'The Batman' — in a story scripted by Bill Finger and drawn by Bob Kane. Within two years Batman would headline his own title and anchor DC Comics for generations.
This CGC 2.0 Good example is complete with all pages intact. The cover shows the iconic Batman silhouette in grey and blue against the night sky, a design that has endured for over 85 years.
An exceptionally rare book: surviving copies number in the dozens. CGC Blue label certifies this as authentic and unrestored.
This copy is encapsulated by CGC at 2.0 on a Universal Blue label under certification number 0912387654, which you can verify independently on the CGC website before you buy. The holder is intact and has not been cracked, re-sealed or altered.
